The owner of the company started at a young age in the hardwood floor industry with a job as an apprentice in New Jersey for a large hardwood floor company. Over the years, he gained the skills and knowledge needed to become a talented floor installer.
After only three years working in the industry, Gilson saw an opportunity to provide superior quality wood floor services at a competitive price in the Charlotte area. Capitalizing on that opportunity, he created his own hardwood floor company, Wilson Hardwood Floor, in Charlotte NC.
